Nike TOC - Day one.... Nike TOC kicked of today (Mon Dec 19th) with a 48 games. The Top division(Joe Smith Division) featured some big national powers such as Mater Dei (CA), Dr.Phillips(FL), Riverdale Baptist (MD), and Phoenix St.Marys(AZ):
Dr.Phillips(FL) over St.Mary's Stockton Mater Dei (CA) over Buford (GA) Riverdale Baptist(MD) over Incarnate Word (MO) Winward (CA) beat MacArthur (TX) Marion Cty(KY) over St.Johns College (DC) Phoenix St. Marys(AZ) beat Christ The King(NY) Other games: Regis(CO) lost to Brea(CA) in a close one. This is Colorado's best team featuring Katie Heckman(2012) who will be playing for the Duke Bluedevils next year (and featured on the cover of Nike Mag) as well as a cast of young Sophmores. Sacramento Long Beach Poly(CA) undersized but very fast ran over Winward(FL). La Jolla Country Day beat Bishop Gorman(NV). H.B. Edison (CA) beat Las Vegas Centennial(NV) handly. Edison featuring Freshmen Katie Samuelson and junior PG Megan Gomez. Lots more basketball to watch. Will be interesting to see who claims the big title.
