THE SHOW :COLORADO

Boys & Girls High School Basketball All-Star Games

Biokats Sports Network is thrilled to announce the 18th annual The Show: Colorado Boys and Girls High School Basketball All-Star Games March 23-24, 2018 at Metro State University in downtown Denver, CO.

“We’ve been directly involved in the success of The Show in Colorado. Watching how much the kids and the community enjoy the honor and the opportunity inspired us to host1A-3A Top20 game in 2017 alongside of our Top20 Elite game. In 2018, we have expanded the Show adding a Top20 Senior game, to honor the outgoing seniors and a Top40 game for our elite Freshman, Sophmores and Juniors. We’re excited about the enthusiasm of the Coaches and media to make this happen for the kids,” said Jerry Howard, CEO, Biokats Sports Network.

The Top 20 student-athletes – boys and girls – from across the state are selected by the Colorado media one month in advance of the event. Selected players will be divided into two teams that will compete in exhibition play in front of the local community.

The Show was started in 2001 in conjunction with the Denver Nuggets to honor the top 40 student-athletes in basketball at the end of the season in an all-star game. In 2016, it was taken over by Biokats Sports Network to continue the tradition. Biokats also hosts The Show-Arizona. Alumni from The show include:

Rodney Billups – University of Denver

Reggie Jackson – Boston College, Oklahoma Thunder, Detroit Pistons

Calais Campbell – University of Miami (football), Arizona Cardinals

Nick Fazekas – University of Nevada, Boston Celtics

Abby Waner – Duke University, USA Basketball

Evan Unrau – University of Missouri, Washington Mystics

Shae Kelly – University of Minnesota, Minnesota Lynx

Biokats Sports Network was formed in 2003 to help Educate, Prepare, and Showcase athletes to play in college. Biokats events help promote athletes within focused environments designed to help the athletes achieve their goals of participating in college athletics.
